** Ballot Entries Have Now Closed **

The final release of tickets for the 2021 Big Red Bash is fast approaching! Since the announcement of the 2020 event cancellation 6 months ago, all ticket holders have had their tickets automatically rolled over and become valid for next year’s event or have been able to request a refund. Availability of refunds for all 2021 tickets will cease after 30th September 2020.

With the 2021 event currently at sold out capacity, ticket availability in the upcoming release is limited and is based on the number of refunded tickets. The last 2 rounds of tickets released in June and August has seen demand exceed the limited supply, with both releases selling out within minutes. We know how stressful it is competing with so many others at the ticket release time, all trying to secure seemingly elusive tickets. So, for this last round, we’ve decided to do things differently to ensure everyone has an equal and less stressful opportunity at securing tickets

The final round of tickets released will be managed via a ballot entry system, meaning every person wanting to secure tickets will have an equal chance in being successful at securing tickets – and that internet access or the speed and time at which you access the ticketing site is not a factor in determining your success. The ballot system is fair, stress free and easy. 

The ballot is now open for entry and will close at 5pm Tuesday 6th October 2020 (AESDT). Successful entrants will be notified via email on the morning of Thursday 8th October 2020 and and will have 12 hours to purchase their tickets. After this period, if there are still available tickets (due to some ballot winners not proceeding with purchase), subsequent ballots will be drawn until all available tickets are exhausted. 

To be part of the ballot, which will allow the purchase of up to 4 adult and unlimited child and youth tickets, plus up to 2 early entry camping passes, you just need to enter your details here. You will receive an email confirmation of your ballot entry.

Ballot Entry Terms & Conditions

1) One entry per email address. Email addresses must be valid – this is how you will be contacted should you be successful in the ballot draw. 

2) You are entering a ballot for the opportunity to purchase 2021 Birdsville Big Red Bash festival tickets. A maximum of 4 adult tickets and unlimited child and youth tickets will be made available for ballot winners to purchase. 1- and 2-Day Early Entry tickets will also be available until the allocation is exhausted. 

3) Ballot entries close at 5pm Tuesday 6th October 2020 (AESDT). 

4) Ballot entries will go into a ‘pool’ and a random number generator will be used to select the ballot winners. All ballot entrants will be contacted via email at 9am AEST on the morning of 8th October 2020 and will be advised whether they have been successful or not. Ballot winners will be provided with information about how to purchase their tickets and will be given 12 hours to complete the transaction. Tickets must be purchased by the deadline provided in the email which will be 12 hours from the time the email is sent.

5) Ballot winners who do not purchase their tickets in the allocated timeframe stated above, will forfeit their entitlement to purchase a ticket in that round. 

6) Additional ballot draws will continue to take place in the same manner as above until the allocated number of tickets are sold. We anticipate there will be a maximum of 3 rounds.

7) Successful ballot winners will be removed from the ‘pool’ (regardless whether or not they proceed with ticket purchase) and will not be eligible for subsequent ballot draws. If you have not been successful in the initial ballot draw, your entry will remain in the ‘pool’ for subsequent ballot draws.
