The 2020 Big Red Bash was SOLD OUT in October 2019, just a few weeks after going on sale! 

If you are looking to buy a ticket or if you have a ticket to sell, we have partnered with Tixel to create a safe marketplace to trade tickets. We do not work with or recommend any other ticket resale facilities. Please only buy tickets through Tixel Re sale to avoid dodgy sellers. Birdsville is a long way to travel to find out that you don’t have a valid ticket, so don’t take the risk!

Q How do I buy or sell tickets via the Tixel Resale facility?

A If you missed out on tickets, join a standby list here to receive alerts once tickets become available.

Q I have purchased tickets through the Pay Over Time facility. Can I sell these tickets through the Tixel Resale Facility?

A Yes, however only if you have paid all outstanding instalments. Customers who elected to Pay Over Time are not issued with an actual ticket until all instalments have been paid in full. If you would like to pay your remaining instalments and be issued with a valid ticket which you can then sell through Tixel resale please call Oztix on 1300 762 545, during normal business hours, and they can take payment for the remaining instalments and issue your tickets.

 

Q Are there any fees involved in buying and selling?

A Yes, Tixel charge buyer and seller fees for providing the resale service and facility and managing the transactions. 

 

Q What if I buy adult tickets, but can’t get child and youth tickets for my family?

A If you purchase 2 adult tickets through the Tixel resale, but have a family and require additional youth or child tickets to accompany your adults tickets, please get in touch with us here and we can assist. 

 

Q Can you guarantee I will be able to purchase a ticket through the re sale facility?

A No. That will be determined by supply and demand and will depend on how many people are wanting to sell their tickets compared to how many are wanting to purchase tickets.

 

Q If I buy a ticket through the resale and I plan to bring my dog, can I get a dog ticket?

A: Yes. You just need to contact Oztix on 1300 762 545 and let them know you need a dog ticket and they will arrange to issue you with one. (There is no cost involved).

Make sure you have your ticket reference number handy when you call.

 

Q If I sell my ticket through Tixel how long does it take until I receive the funds from the sale.

A: The funds will be released as soon as the ticket has been re-issued in the buyer's name which is done by Oztix.
The time it takes to get funds from Tixel to the Seller depends on the individual's bank and can be vary from 1 - 4 business days.
The Seller will receive a notification via SMS and in their Tixel account (in 'Payouts') letting them know the estimated day of arrival of their funds.
